~ A client posted on FB on January 2, 2013...I received a gift certificate for a facial and Brazilian wax. As a first timer, I had no idea what I was in for with the wax. Kristen was FANTASTIC! She made me so comfortable and put me at such ease, explaining everything as she performed the service. I left feeling so fantastic and great about myself...and in no pain, which was the opposite of what I expected. Your salon and spa are beautiful and I was so impressed with the overall experience. I travel out of the country frequently, but the next time I am back, I will definitely be booking with her again and checking out your other salon services. Thank you so much, Kristen and Pure Bliss!

April 28, 2012...

My wife and I had a couples massage today, with Kristen providing my wife's massage and Julie doing mine.  Both of us have had several professional massages in the past , and yet we each felt today's massage was the finest experience we have ever had.  Your facility is outstanding and our two therapists even better.  We have absolutely found the massage therapists that we will return to over and over again.

I would also like to say that I have been very pleased , as well, with the hair stylist that has done my hair twice now - Jim is excellent and he has given me two of the best haircuts I've had in a very long time.

If you wish to use these comments in any way, you have our permission.  Pure Bliss is an outstanding salon and all of your staff has been excellent.  Thank you for providing such a fine salon in this area.

I would highly recommend Pure Bliss Spa & Salon. From the time you walk in the door and speak to their wonderful front office staff to all the awesome products they sell and finally the services they provide, it's easy to make the decision to go to Pure Bliss Spa & Salon for my mani, pedi, and my hair styling needs. You rock Pure Bliss!!!!!!

I’ll start this review off by saying that I’m not normally a massage type of person. I don’t like to be pampered and the idea of small talk sends me into an anxiety driven state of tenseness; both not very conductive to a 30 minute massage with a hot stone add on. As directed, I walked into the Spa with Andrea and listened carefully to her instructions about how to lay and undress. After she left I disrobed as far as I was comfortable, lay on the heated table face down, and covered myself with the blankets. Andrea knocked gently and immediately put me at ease by explaining everything she would be doing, as well as the purpose. The massage lotion was warmed as well and I could instantly feel my muscles as well as my nerves ease. She started by slowly moving my muscles around and her transition from her hands to the warmed rocks was so seamless, I couldn’t tell which was which at first. The heat and small weight of the rocks took the massage to a new level, releasing the tension that I had been holding onto. I was worried about the temperature of the stones and Andrea explained that she tests the temperature by resting them in one hand, spreads the lotion with the other while waiting for the stone to cool enough to match her hand temperature. She undraped my back and worked on my muscles there, then slowly drew the blanket back up so that I was fully covered again. Then she made her way to one arm and undraped me. I never felt over exposed or cold and the whole thing was so professional and relaxing that I honestly felt a little silly over the apprehension. When she had finished with my arms and back she had me flip over and swaddled my face in warm, aromatherapy towels and started on my neck, working out the long held stress. She continued on in the same manner with the front of my arms and then wrapped my feet in warm towels and finished with my legs and feet. When she was finished I felt like a new person. I could move and stretch in ways that I haven’t been able to do in a long time. The relaxation changed my mind frame and I felt refreshed in mind, body, and soul. Normally, the pressure of a massage almost is too much, but because of the way that she utilizes the hot stone, she was able to do deeper work without the force of a traditional deep tissue massage.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about both Pure Bliss and Andrea’s Hot Stone Massage. Thank you!
